Reading over our blog posts this week, it seems we’ve done a lot of work, but it’s not all been about work. We had time to step away on Saturday evening and headed to the Lodge Hotel, where the opening night’s entertainment had commenced for this years Surf Wave Classic event!
In the busy beachside pub, packed with holidaymakers and locals, including all the competitors in the surfing championships, the evening was in full pelt, and I have to say the fiddle band, were absolutely amazing! I could have listened to them all evening, if it weren’t for the fact that i had no sleep the night before from travelling.
Shamefully, after just a pint or so, I headed for bed…..times have indeed changed!
