We’ve just returned from a week staying in beautiful Struthan cottage. The weather last week was hideous (torrential rain, gale force winds and storm Agnes) so really appreciated having such a fabulous place to stay – a real home from home and we loved our stay! The enclosed garden was perfect for the dog too.
Quite possibly the most well equipped place I’ve ever stayed with literally everything you could possibly need. We had a 4 hour power cut the night of the storm so the torches and candles which had been provided were definitely appreciated. Loved all the island information and recommendations too! Thank you so much for such a memorable stay in your beautiful cottage.
We have just returned from a second wonderful stay at Struthan cottage. The cottage is perfect for our family and dog and we find it home from home. Tiree is just gorgeous! Highlights include walking miles on endless beaches, swimming, surfing, paddle boarding and seal spotting. It feels like getting off the world. We can’t wait to come back for a third visit.
This is the second time we have stayed at Struthan Cottage, and it truly is a home from home, Tiree is my most favourite holiday destination and I am already looking to see when we can come back again.

Perfect to get to all beaches, windsurfing on the nearby Loch, and surrounded by hares and all manner of birds, frogs, dragonflies and butterflies! Was a wonderful base to explore.
Only non positive feedback, you need more chairs as we couldn’t all sit at the table together to eat, or in the lounge to relax. As the weather was so good, this wasn’t a huge deal as we ate outside and relaxed outside. The garden is perfect by the way! But in wet times a nuisance.

We had an amazing holiday last week at struthan cottage killmaluig. The cottage is the best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in.The secret garden round the corner is amazing sun trap.we found everyone we spoke to so friendly and helpful,and the beaches stunning.we had a lovely rib ride to coll where we saw minke whale on the way.we will be back it was beautiful thankyou tracy palmer.
Perfect cottage for exploring Tiree, home from home. Dog friendly too.

My wife and I had an enjoyable time together at Struthan cottage from the 29/October to the 5th/November and although we have been there several times before
We feel that if available we would certainly go back as we find it a very comforting place to stay and absolutely love Tiree
We would also like to say we would strongly recommend it to anyone considering where to stay in Tiree for a short or longer break

Well what a beautiful place Tiree is, we went to just chill out for the week and de-stress from looking after my mum.
As soon as I stepped into the cottage I felt like it was giving me a great big hug, and it stayed that way all week.
Everything was perfect for us. Sitting outside I caught the sun forgetting the wind was cooling it down, I now have a very red face. Beautiful beaches all around, everywhere was lovier than the next place.
Due to some places still not open it was fairly quiet but that was what we went for.
Can’t praise it more, loved it, loved it.

Just returned from a lovely holiday week on the beautiful island of Tiree. This is the second time we have stayed at Paul’s delightful cottage. Struthan cottage is simply perfect, quaint and traditional looking but fully modernised inside and provides a great place to kick back and relax and enjoy this beautiful place. We were lucky with the weather too and managed to do plenty of kitesurfing and stand up and paddle boarding. The past 18 months have certainly been challenging due to covid both mentally and physically so our holiday stay came just at the right time and have left us feeling very relaxed and de stressed. Lots of great new memories made. Can’t wait to return again to Tiree and would definitely recommend staying at Struthan cottage.
We have just returned from a windy week at Tiree. The cottage was so warm and comfortable that we had a fabulous time. Cottage has everything you need and we loved walking the beaches even though it was tough walking in storm Ali. Look forward to returning soon.
