What a spectacular display there was last night over Western Scotland as the Northern Lights made a stunning appearance. Several photos have been shared on Tiree websites showing the Aurora over the island last night, in the early hours of Wednesday 13th September 2023. And it’s forecast to happen again tonight.

The inside of the cottage has been enhanced by removing fake flowers and replacing with real orchids and lilies and some hardier plants like cacti. If as guests, you spot them on window cills, please feel free to give them a quick water in warmer months. Thanks.
A slightly different look for inside the cottage, as we’ve replaced 3 of the older rugs with brand new ones. Large one in living room, runner in hall and kitchen rug. New traditional designs, some with more beachy colours.
A dry sunny day last week, meant getting some work done outside in the cottage garden.
