After the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, many places on Tiree felt the changes, including Soroby Cemetery, where by late 2020, the grass had grown long, moving gently in the island breeze around the grave stones.
It’s a place where nature and memory meet, reminding us of the resilience of our communities and the loved ones we remember here. It is a very special place for our family. Even in overgrown grass, there is beauty and calm, with Tiree’s skies above and the quiet surrounding fields holding space for reflection.
