Coming from the Mainland, and having a busy, hectic life, with commutes, office work and the hustle and bustle of nearby towns, it makes it REAL easy for me to appreciate the quieter times when I come to Tiree. I often have moments which just stop me in my tracks. The peacefulness, silence and beauty of the surroundings can take my breath away.
Even although I was only sitting in the car in the Co-Op carpark, one of those moments was last summer, as the sun streamed in the windscreen on a warm, summers day. Just bliss.
