We became aware this week that our dishwasher wasn’t cleaning properly and leaving water ponding in the bottom of the appliance. This is now immediately sorted.
A combination of Tiree’s hard water building up limescale over a period of time and a small broken piece of plastic in the drainage hose was to blame. We’ve stripped the inside parts out and treated them for limescale remover, which has now successfully unblocked filters and water pressure outlets again. As well as limescale remover, we’ve bought and left a quantity of lemon smelling dishwasher salts for guests. The dishwasher is now operating as it should, like new, super powerful, all the dishes cleaning properly with pressurised hot water, no residue and all excess, post rinse water draining away.
