We’re thrilled to receive the excellent news today that our holiday let license with the Council has now been approved!
New legislation in 2022 by the Scottish Government means that all property owners letting out holiday cottages, houses, caravans, chalets etc MUST have by law, own a license to be able to take bookings. This is a requirement for all tourism in Scotland from next year. Our news follows rather protracted procedures, checks and balances to ensure the property is safe for guests and of a quality, condition and size permitted to accommodate visitors. It’s been a long, 8 month process, involving many authorities including fire service, planning and the council.
Our holiday license is live and due for renewal again in 3 years.
