Maintenance Visit Nearly Done

It’s almost time for us to leave the cottage, the week’s maintenance visit nearly done. The place is immaculate, deep cleaned and freshened up. Before we relax and chill on our final day tomorrow, for those interested, here’s a little list of other things we’ve done at the cottage this week to make your holiday more memorable:

1. Bathroom Sealants stripped and renewed behind sink
2. Grout in the shower whitened and renewed.
3. New toilet roll holder & toilet rolls, soaps restocked.
4. Replaced new shower downlighter.
5. PS3 Games console upgraded to newer PS4.
6. New TV/DVD combo in Twin Bedroom.
7. New Mattress & Pillow Protectors throughout
8. Two x new Warmer 10.5tog single duvets.
9. New Alarm clocks with wireless device charging points.
10. New Bedside lamps with built in USB charging points.
11. Surge protected extension cables.
12. New large Mirror in Twin Bedroom
13. Painted Stairwell and Twin Bedroom
14. Word parts replaced with new in heating system
15. Winter heating programme
16. Radiators bled.
17. Restocked matches, kindling, firelighters and wood for stoves
18. Restocked binbags, washing up powder, liquid, kitchen roll
19. Updated our welcome pack
20. Fixed latch on gate to new wooden post and painted.
21. Painted front door and frames.
22. New draught excluding around front door
23. Packed away outdoor furniture for winter
24. Cut front grass & weeded
25. Planted up Spring Bulbs and new palm tree outdoors
26. Planted ferns for summer greenery
27. New oven trays and roasters
28. New Chopping board.
29. New Lighting (Twinkling tree) in Livingroom.
30. Two new Mains Powered Smoke alarms.
