Day 2 of our Winter Maintenance visit and the outside rainy weather meant (once again), it was a day to be indoors!
So, an early start was made in deep cleaning upstairs, moving the furniture, putting down the dust sheets, masking and getting the upstairs redecorated. It’s been several years since we painted upstairs and scuff marks from holiday cases, hoovers and little hands had taken its toll. Time for a freshen up.
Regular guests will notice a difference with the cottage’s familiar white walls upstairs, now a warmer, light coffee colour, which we think is more fitting for the bedrooms and hall. It’s all looking a little different, and now the second coat has dried, it’s looking brand new! We think it looks great, immaculate and the warmer tones making the upstairs more inviting and comfortable.
Elsewhere, including downstairs still has white walls, now being painted to freshen up for another busy season next year. Stay tuned for more maintenance visit tasks this week as we continue to make your holiday experience and the cottage as best as it can be.
