Tiree Voluntary Parking Permit

Don’t forget, if you’re visiting Tiree this year and plan on making some trips to the beach (as im sure you will be!), then visitors are asked if they wish to contribute £10 towards a voluntary parking permit. This is available from the Rural Centre or the Access Officer.

Tiree’s popularity is increasing yearly and the demand for parking and access to the beaches is beginning to take its toll on the fragile habitat. Tiree Rural Development through the access steering group hope to develop a long term plan which will enable them to maintain and improve current parking and access points, develop sustainable and appropriate access island wide and improve facilities and signage. Your attention to this is appreciated.
