We’re hearing word this morning from our holiday guests that the ferry shuttling between Oban and Tiree has broken down and may not be fixed for several days. However, they already have a smaller replacement which is now operating on a new , revised timetable:

This new timetable has TWO sailings on Saturdays with the first getting into Tiree at the usual time and the second at 11pm. Calmac telephone service has advised they dont know when the larger boat will be fixed, therefore have announced this new timetable UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Note though, it may revert back to the usual timetable at any time. Holiday guests should ensure they are fully aware of their travel arrangements including any revisions to their travel bookings, by calling Calmac direct on 0800 066 5000 and also by checking the Calmac Disruption page at http://calmac.co.uk/Service%20Status/service-status.html
