I’ve uncovered this photo taken of “D&H MacArthur” Stores in Scarinish. Obviously taken a LONG time ago, i’m interested in hearing about any history of this store. All i know is that it was located on the site of the current Scarinish Co-op, providing food and hardware to islanders prior to the current stores. I’d heard it burned down? If anybody has any history, knowledge of when the photo was taken, what happened to the store or the MacArthurs, then i’d love to hear about it. Thanks.
