If you happen to be on Tiree over the coming fortnight, you’re in for a bit of a treat! It’s the height of the Summer Season and there’s a LOT on, plenty of entertainment and days (and evenings!) out for all the family. Here’s a quick rundown:
- Wed 15th July: Tiree Rural Development Family Night at An Talla Hall 7-9pm
- Fri 17th July: Preview of the Forthcoming “beachcomber” craft shop, at Crossapol 6pm – 8pm
- Sat 18th July: Tiree Sailing regatta at Scarinish Old Harbour
- Mon 20th July: Tiree Christmas Parties Family Dance at An Talla 7pm – 9pm
- Fri 24th July: Tiree Agricultural Show at the Rural Centre featuring “Tiree’s Got Talent!”
- Fri 24th July: Tiree Agricultural Show Dance at An Talla 9.30pm
- Sat 25th July: Skippnish Album Launch and Concert at An Talla 7pm
- Sat 1st August: The Main Tiree Regatta at Scarinish Old Harbour 9.30am – late
Tourists are most welcome at these events, and having been to most of these in previous years, i can confirm they are an excellent day out for all the family. As well as these major entertainment events, Tiree Summer Season also offers:
- 1st June – 28th August: Shoreline Painting Exhibition at Blue Beyond in Balemartine
- 1st August: Day long “Renewable Communities” conference in An Talla
- 11th July – 14th August: Tiree Art Enterprises Exhibition in Tiree Rural centre (Free Admission)
