Phone home
Before the installation of Broadband, i had to use the phone a few times to call home and the mainland. (Note, Three and Orange networks can struggle and sometimes not work on Tiree, although Vodafone, O2 and Tmobile seem to work ok almost all the time!) Anyway, i had to do something i hadnt done for 15 years….make a phone call from a call box! How i struggled with what to do, and where to put the money.
Theres a public phone box right at the end of the road in Kilmoluiag as you head towards Balevulin.
