A gentle reminder to all all holiday guests that you should check with Calmac or Flybe before you leave to check your travel arrangements. We would also recommend during this Winter cold weather to take out travel insurance. Struthan Cottage owners cannot be held responsible if any of your travel plans or holiday is disrupted due to weather. Having cheap insurance in place (from the post office for example) will at least let you recover any part of your holiday if it gets disrupted. Thankfully, this hasnt happened to anybody we know, but the severe snow and cold temperatures look as though they’re here to stay for a while!
