Kitchen Ready for Fitting
Exciting ! Work progresses this week with Struthan Cottage Rennovation. A brand new Traditional Oak style kitchen is being fitted which will see a huge advancement towards the house being ready to be lived in. Furthermore, a natural riven slate floor is being laid throughout the lower open plan floor. This should create a very old effect within the house, and of course the slate will be heated by the underfloor heating. It was some amount of work to load the slate and the kitchen units into the lorry going to Tiree! The suspension on the vehicle looked very low to the ground! The weather was also quite wild this week, so we’re glad the ferry managed to get into Tiree today. We should have some progress pictures soon.
