Despite starting off to a windy and excellent competition last Saturday, the Tiree Wave Classic windsurfing event this week has turned into a bit of a damp squib. Well, firstly as theres been NO WIND! Some Frustrated windsurfers have given up and left, others decided to stay on and enjoy the party atmosphere in the evenings.
The more hardy 
professional surfers robbed of their fun, decided to create some for themselves, with some of the best windsurfers having a laugh and stripping down and surfing in the nude!
Three hardy souls took to the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean off a beach in Scotland this morning – completely naked. The nudesurfing was just a bit of fun – in spite of all appearances suggesting that it was absolutely sodding freezing – at Balevullin on the Isle of Tiree, in the Inner Hebrides, during the Tiree Wave Classic windsurfing competition.
Chris (red sails), Louise (blue sails) and George (yellow sails) all cast their modesty aside to take to the waves – although these pictures suggest that the gents, at the very least, tried in vain to preserve a little of their dignity with strategically-placed hands…
Thankfully for all windsurfers (and visitors alike!), the clothes were back on fairly sharply. The cold Atlantic Ocean in October can really take effect on all parts of the body!! Full story and more pics here.
