Upstairs Landing done!
Time to show you the upstairs part of the staircase and the upper landing. A LOT of work again in forming this area and finishing it. The picture shows the curving handrail rising out of the stair (fully welded now!) and sweeping around a new semi circular area in the upstairs hall. We created the new semi circular flooring area you see at the front of the picture, floored it and finished it with the balustrades (phew…im SO glad it was measured up correctly!)
The landing plate still needs varnished another twice to match the same colour as the treads and skirtings, but thats minor. The 1m extending up from the central pole still needs primed, but this picture captures exactly the work put into this area.
