The VERY first ever Tiree Music Festival will take place that weekend in the grounds of the An Talla Community hall and will host an open air stage within the car park.
TMF has been set up as a not for profit charitable organisation and will be the biggest event Tiree has ever held. The festival will feature 10 acts over 2 dats including No 1 selling artist Sandi Thom, Irish favourites Crooked Reel, Fortunate Sons, Torridon, new album launch from Skerryvore, other local favourites Skipinnish, Gunna Sound & Trail West and a special collaboration for the event….the Tiree All Star Ceileidh Band!
The event will be for all the family and will include workshops, children’s celeidh, whiskey tasking, barbeques and lots more! Tickets for the event do not go on public sale until 28th May 2010. However, An Tirisdeach readers will get a special opportunity to book their tickets first at discounted rate.
