Tiree Roads are Excellent for Walking
This excellent picture was taken by my wife last year. One of the roads going across the middle of the island, long and flat and excellent for walking or cycling. Tiree roads as you can see are very narrow and often require cars to stop temporarily in laybys to give way to oncoming traffic. More suited to bicycles and walkers, Tiree offers plenty of opportunity to get fit in the clean healthy sea air. Bring along your bicycles on holiday or hire them from the pier!
