Shower gets Tiled!
April nearly upon us, and traditionally a month of showers. Speaking of which, our renovation is ahead in that respect, with the bathroom shower now fully installed, tiled and grouted. During the last couple of days, the bathroom stone floor tiles have been laid. We’ve also now working on tiles around the bath and behind the sink splashback.
The picture on the left shows completed lighting, cornicing and tiling. The shower door is now on, and the tiles grouted white. A band of natural stone mosaics adds to the warmth generated in this room, and compliments the natural stone tiles. We’ve spent some money in the bathroom, to make sure you’ve a touch of luxury on your holiday.
However, the picture you see is still unfinished at the moment (March 09). Still lots to do and we’re heading up to Tiree again on Saturday to give the decoration an extra push. Skirtings, towel rail and grouting the floor tiles should see the bathroom almost complete! We’ve also had a busy week taking delivery of kitchen tiles, wheelie bin, wood burning stoves, washing machine, timber skirtings and architraves and have started buying the contents, e.g kitchen utensils, ornaments and pictures! Exciting times.
