Living Room Stove gets lit!
A huge task now completed and tested. The stoves are installed in both the living room and the kitchen and they look fantastic! This was a LOT of work, in flue lining the chimneys and working on the roof on top of the chimneys themselves (in between rain showers). The stoves are multi fuel , meaning they burn coal, or wood.
When dusk fell this evening, both stoves were lit for the first time and with almost immediate warmth in the cottage, the rooms took on a different atmosphere! Here in this picture, you get the first glimpse of the living room. (Just ignore the flatpack boxes you see in the foreground for now!)
