The Tiree cinema is coming soon! Work has now started in the mart for the new cinema. The old stepping has been removed and the ringside made removable, the insulation is arriving in the next week or so and the new seating comes on July 5th.
Opening Celebrations –
Thursday 29th July 2010 – Matinee opening – Film Character Fancy dress competition, party food and showing of “Alice in Wonderland 3d” – Tickets £5
Friday 30th July 2010 – Red Carpet opening – Evening celebration in formal dress with refreshments and showing of “Amelia PG”. Tickets £10/adult and £5/under 14s.
The cinema will seat around 70 people or so. Both films will be shown again on Saturday 31st July. The theatre will only legally show films to it’s members. Membership will cost from £3 for an “on the night” membership to £85 for a gold annual membership for a family of 4. More information coming in the next edition of An Tirisdeach.
