The wooden table and chairs we have in the kitchen has always looked great and very much in place in our cottage, but it was time for a little maintenance. The fittings on the chairs have all been tightened, soft pads placed on the end of their legs (to stop the slate being marked) and new wicker placemats on the table. (for added protection). I have to say, all previous holiday guests have been very respectful of the cottage and i really didnt have to do that much maintenance at all this last weekend, leaving me time to relax last night with a beer and friends. Brilliant on a cold, Winter evening!
