More Maintenance Inside and out

Thursday. Unfortunately windy and rainy today, but i still managed to get some more maintenance done. This time i freshened up the white paint on the inside of the cottage. Tidied out drawers and units. Also bagged some more rubble in the byre. When the rain let up in the afternoon, i took delivery of 2T of stone chips for the driveway and manually shoveled it all into the driveway, creating a nice looking, compacted better surface for parking cars outside the cottage. Later in the day i managed to relax and watched a movie, before heading over to a neighbour’s house adjacent to the cottage, who kindly offered to make me dinner! Enjoyed the evening chatting about days gone by. Little work left to do now, so hopefully i can take it easy from tomorrow afternoon! It’s always a quick week in Tiree.
