The entire inside walls and gables of the cottage have now been whitewashed. Not a scratch, nor blemish exists. Painted in brilliant white emulsion, everything looks fresh ready for 2013 guests.
Some new throws, new cushions on the sofa, new books including some about Tiree’s history. AND…if you look closely some fresh picked Spring Daffodils from the garden.
Heating controls have now been set for things turning milder. A reminder though, that there’s the heating boost button, underfloor heating, spare oil heaters and the stoves in both kitchen and living room if the weather stays on the cold side. You’ll definitely be warm and cosy. If too warm in the Summer, the windows can be opened, although we’d much prefer if you turned down the dial thermostat in the hall. Thanks.
