Ahead of the Summer season, we’ve taken time this afternoon to deep clean the cottage. Where a surface was scratched, it’s been repainted. Where something needed tightened, it’s been done! In fact, the inside of the cottage is looking as fresh as the day it was renovated.
A good example of the time and effort we go to ensure cleanliness year upon year is the bathroom. A clean bathroom is expected of course on every holiday, but did you know each year, we strip out the grout in the shower, re-grout it with gleaming white new grout and re-mastic the shower tray seals with brilliant white mastic. Absolutely spotless and looks like it’s just been built!
Our maintenance visits always intend to go a little stretch further than normal, not only freshening up, but with several improvements too. New bathmats and towels. And now, a very well stocked cupboard full of toilet rolls means guests have even less to buy when they’re here on the island!
