Today, Day 5 of our maintenance visit to the cottage, was all about the second bedroom. The Twin bedroom upstairs got a fantastic makeover with a brand new chest of drawers, new furniture and fittings. First though, the back gable wall was painted a slight coffee colour, warmer than the previous whitewash paint. After it dried, a lovely large new mirror was hung, sympathetic to the adjacent wooden beams upstairs. The mirror also makes this smaller bedroom look much larger.
We unpacked our brand new table lamps, which are touch controlled with three dimmable settings for energy efficient warm LED lighting. These special lamps also have built in USB sockets on the round bases, meaning you have somewhere to charge your devices, tablets, watches etc.
Finally, the brand new bedside alarm clocks, have a few dimmable settings (or can be switched entirely off if you like the room pitch dark). Made from wood effect to match the mirror and beams, they also feature a radio, built in bluetooth speaker and the entire top of the device features a wireless charging pad, which will currently charge modern i-phones and android phones without any cables! These new electronic devices have good energy ratings, something we’re all mindful of these days. Along with new vases and flowers, these are of course there to make your holiday experience better, more attractive and more convenient.
