Child Friendly Cottage

I thought it worthwhile posting a reminder about how Struthan Cottage is child friendly. We have several families coming to the cottage this year who have babies or toddlers (ourselves included) so it’s important that the cottage is safe and a playful, resourceful environment for people bringing along children on holiday. An adjustable highchair for babies and toddlers is provided. It’s found under the bed upstairs and we ask any guests using it to pack it away again after use. Also stored under the bed is a quality travel cot (from Mothercare) which also acts as a secure playpen. So, that’s a few things you wont need to pack in your car! The stoves are protected by fireguards and there are no steps in the lower floor of the cottage. The garden is safe and entirely walled ensuring children can’t stray off. For things to do, there’s children’s cartoons and DVDs, board games, a PS2 and lots of books.
