Time to Box in the Heating!
Rennovation of Struthan Cottage continues and we turn our attention to finishing off the porch area!
The Heating components, including the boiler, gets boxed in by framing, in preparation for walling and some access panels. The picture shows an indent in the framing where a shelf is intended, above which will be an area to hang coats and jackets when you come in.
Heating in Struthan Cottage is “state of the art” with a very efficient, high capacity boiler ensuring plenty of hot water on tap on your holiday. This system is connected to 2 radiators upstairs and extensive underfloor heating throughout the entire downstairs area. It’s going to be one cosy cottage!
