Bluebells Flourishing

Back in our own garden on the mainland we have THOUSANDS of Bluebells. Last year, we carefully collected the seed and brought them over to Tiree, scattering them around Struthan Cottage Garden. More in hope than anything else that something would grow. (Its difficult to pick and choose which plants to grow in Tiree due to the wind and salt air)

However, to our surprise this visit, the Bluebells have flowered and are thriving in little clumps in the back garden of the cottage, providing some beautiful colour for guests during the month of May. Other seasonal flowers like daffodils, tulips and more are also doing well at other times of the year.
