With my Winter maintenance visit almost done, i decided to put up the Christmas decorations a little early ahead of the guests arriving for Christmas and New Year! I must say it is quite surreal putting up Xmas decs for the first time in the cottage, a reminder certainly that it’s December and not July which i’m more used to being on Tiree! I poured myself a mulled wine and set to work putting up the small tree, tinsel around the pictures and stairway and to finish it off, sparkling , twinkling lights around the spiral staircase. I have to admit , it looks VERY cosy and Christmassy even more so in the evening. Just the ticket for our next guests after i leave for the mainland tomorrow.
