Struthan Cottages – Tiree Accommodation

A few weeks ago, i mentioned that the Royal Bank of Scotland is using Tiree is a NATIONWIDE billboard poster campaign. Advertised in Heathrow Airport, right up to John O Groats, this billboard has been plastered all over the UK in the last few weeks. Lo and behold, there’s Scarinish (heavily photoshopped). For instance, the house in the foreground has had colour drained to distract focus from it and the Bank itself usually in the distance, is brought so much forward into the picture, it practically sits in the harbour! The co-op has been shrunk and theres no sign of the hotel. Here’s the picture we managed to grab from the board. I’ve been on holiday in the past to that very cottage and had a great time, so this picture also has memories for me. Look out for the poster on your travels.
